ABOUT ALISTAIR
Alistair Moulton Black is a South African actor, film maker and video editor living in London, UK. He is a creative and versatile actor for film and tv, occasionally stepping back on stage - his first passion. Alistair is an experienced voice actor who can also be booked for your video editing jobs.

Alistair founded the theatre company 'I am productions' to write, direct and produce theatre shows which toured around the world. A highlight for the company was winning the Editors Choice Award at the Edinburgh Arts Festival in 2008 for their production 'Sylvia's Ball'.

Following this success he shifted his focus to screen and founded 'Chief films', a production company where he writes, produces an directs short films, feature films, web episodes and music videos. In addition, he edits videos for showreels, short films, promotional and educational videos. Read more about his video editing work here.
Alistair creates and teaches workshops in acting, movement, drama and creative writing to support life skills and self empowerment. He facilitates programmes for schools and outreach programmes in disadvantaged communities.

Alistair completed his studies in advanced performance (Waterfront Theatre School, Cape Town South Africa where he received the Best Actor Award in 2013). He qualified in scriptwriting (British National Arts Council, London UK) as well as filmmaking (Dov Simens Film Academy).
